Our process of learning and teaching is inclusive of everyone involved.
Greenland Hall is an excellent school, providing high-quality education both in the classroom and through a wide range of co-curricular activities. We have a history of high performance and put much of our success down to being an inclusive school at the heart of the community we serve.
We have high aspirations for all our students, and our goal is to improve the life chances of every learner, irrespective of their starting point. We believe that achievement leads to opportunity and choice, and this underpins all of our work in school.
We take the business of teaching and learning extremely seriously. Students are valued as individuals and we are passionately committed to their achievement, personal growth, and excellence in everything we do. Students are encouraged to thrive in all areas of learning, in the classroom, and beyond. We are dedicated to providing an inspiring curriculum that is based on the acquisition of knowledge, fosters curiosity and a love of learning.
Greenland Hall is a family. There is a real sense of community here. We teach our students to be considerate of each other, to be tolerant and respectful, to be socially responsible, and to care not only for the school but for the wide community that we belong to. We also want our young people to be ambitious and not settle for the second-best or the path of least resistance. Together, we recognise that the road to success includes barriers and occasional failure, but we work in unison to build emotional and academic resilience.

❝ At Greenland Hall, we foster positive relationships across every level of our community. We believe that good behavior, dedication, active participation, and a true passion for learning are key to success. Every student holds incredible potential, and we are committed to providing the support and opportunities they need to excel in our nurturing environment.❞
We fundamentally believe that all of our students should leave Greenland Hall with the skills and qualifications to choose a path that is right for them to excel in a dynamic world.
We work hard to ensure what we teach is relevant. Our curriculum is tailored not only to meet the examination requirements but to have the flexibility to and time to explore wider issues and respond to those that we face. Our personal development lessons enable students to explore ideas of citizenship, politics, environmental studies, safety, healthy lifestyle, and careers, to name a few, so there is an understanding of the world we live in and in context for their academic studies. But most importantly, we know our families and our community really well, and our strongest and most important partnership is with our parents and guardians.
