What makes life at Greenland Hall different and enviable?
A glimpse into the life at Greenland Hall
Greenland Hall is a high-achieving school with a growth mindset culture. Our record in examination results and entry to top universities is enviable. We achieved it without unnecessary pressure. Our custom curriculum is underpinned by innumerable activities, and we have an effective pastoral program that fosters resilience and independence of spirit. It is our aim to prepare our pupils for the ever-changing world ahead.
We believe that academic success is based on genuine scholarship and intellectual exploration. This is why we encourage learners to develop their own ideas, challenge accepted norms constructively, and think creatively about the world around them.
❝ We are a leading academic institution with a high level of achievement, excellent examination results, and enviable progression to top schools in this country and abroad. ❞

What Greenland Hall has to offer
Our location in the heart of the buzzing border town of Alakuko is one of our greatest strengths. It offers us links with the most extraordinary cultural, political, educational, business, and professional institutions in both Lagos and Ogun States, giving us a unique ability to prepare learners for the opportunities and challenges of modern life.
An environment built with the sole purpose of facilitating learning and teaching while encouraging and fostering creativity.
We are high-achieving and forward-thinking.
We are welcoming and unpretentious, developing the strengths and aspirations of every member in a supportive and caring environment.
We believe in developing our pupils' sense of aspiration, confidence, independent thinking, resilience, generosity, and courtesy in accordance with our vision.

Students' Leadership Program
We believe that a key element of our purpose as a school is to prepare young people for the world beyond Greenland Hall. This is why all students at Greenland Hall are expected to demonstrate leadership skills.
Our leadership programs include the Student Representative Council, Mentoring, Facility Management, and Prefectship.
At Greenland Hall, student leadership is one of the pillars of student achievement. We strongly believe that the more engaged you are in your school, the more likely you are to succeed.
School Tuck Shop & Green Coin
Our school has a well-stocked commissary and tuck shop within our school community where members are free to make purchases using Green Coin. Green Coin is a digital currency developed by Greenland Hall to make purchases within the Greenland Hall community. Green Coin enables students to manage their finances and both discourages and eliminates theft by 99.9%. It also helps parents monitor and manage their child's finances remotely..

In addition to thousands of available print books, magazines, novels, etc., the LRCs also offer a selection of study areas, access to computers, printing facilities, and Wi-Fi.
Both LRCs are open Monday to Sunday to all members of Greenland Hall.
Core services include book browsing and borrowing, individual and group study spaces; bookable group study rooms; computer and software access; online support and help, and our LRC welcome desks.
